Tarantula Info: One of a number of beautiful “red leg” tarantulas from the Pacific Coast of Mexico, the Fire-leg is a personal favorite due to its striking bright orange and brown/black coloration and fairly docile disposition. Females can grow to be a large heavy-bodied spiders and impressive display specimens. Brachypelma are notorious for flicking their irritating urticating hairs, but most will become increasingly placid and seldom do so.
