It naturally occurs in a very harsh and arid region of northern Venezuela, and it does well in a simple moderately-dry terrarium. It is a terrestrial species that uses copious amounts of silk to create retreats and it may construct elaborate tunnels upon the substrate. Most greenbottle blues are nervous and fast-moving, but they aren’t usually aggressive.
