A very rare arboreal species, Psalmopoeus victori was found in the moist forests in the state of Veracruz, Mexico. It is sometimes called the “Mexican Half & Half” because the rear end (abdomen and back two pairs of legs) are often bright red, while the carapace is greenish-grey and the forelegs are dark grey to black. A terrarium suited for a medium-sized tropical tarantula is recommended. Live plants and vertical hollow logs or cork tubes can be used to create an attractive display.
