Tarantula Info: This handsome and robust species inhabits moist subtropical forests in coastal regions of Veracruz state, Mexico. The body is dark and the carapace has a bronzish pubescence. The brown abdomen is covered in pale orangish-red hairs. It is a hardy and long-lived species that thrives in a terrestrial terrarium with an area with a good depth of damp substrate.
